On January the 8th, Lauro Golf celebrated the arrival of the royal majesties and held the VI Three Wise Men Tournament, the first competition of the year 2012. 

The tournament, modality Individual Stableford, started nine o´clock, from hole 10 with some forty players.

 The competition went nice and smooth with spring time temperatures despite it being in the middle of winter.

After 5 hours of intense game the participants got to enjoy a well-deserved glass of anis with some typical Spanish Christmas portion of roscón Reyes sponsored by Beyoda´s Bakery. Surely a celebration in honour of Their Majesties from the Far East wouldn´t have been the same without this delicious dessert, a traditional sweet of over 500 years.

There were prizes for the first three classified in addition with” roscon de Reyes”. The price giving was carried out by caddie master Patricia Bravo Garret. The winners were:

1st Classified: Laurence Philip Martienssen             hcp: 23        43 points

2nd Classified: Henry Valarino Fernández                 hcp: 1         39 points

3rd Classified: Roberto Rivas Murray                          hcp: 5         39 points

In general there was a lovely festive atmosphere from the beginning to the end of the competition and during the prize giving.
