The well-known “Day of the Club” competition was held last Saturday 3rd December at Lauro Golf. This tournament is already a tradition in the club as it has been celebrated since 1992. It was an open competition which gathered both members and friends of the club, the club offered complimentary green fee as a gesture of gratitude for their loyalty to the club.
The competition had a shot gun start at 9:00 am, under the conditions of a Stableford Competition. There were two prizes for each category as well as two Scratch prizes for Ladies & Gents, a nearest to the pin prize and two prizes for the longest drive. After the tournament the players returned to the clubhouse where they received a magnificent buffet served by the Mama Luchía Golf Restaurant management. Straight after it took place the prize giving presented by the President of the Competitions Committee of Lauro Golf, Ms.Tove Pedersen and the Caddy Master Nina Nordenswan.

All winners were delighted with the prizes and trophies received. All this was possible thanks to the generous collaboration of Velas TLC, Centro Sanum, Novo Sancti Petri Golf, Alferini Golf Club, Santa Clara Golf, Marbella Golf, La Quinta Golf, Mijas Golf, Santa María Golf, Parador de Golf , Hotel Años 50, Mercaline, Lauro Golf and Restaurante Mama Luchía Golf which sponsored the prizes for this competition, this last one Mama Luchía Golf donated a Serrano ham for the raffle. To conclude it is needed saying that the day had a real club atmosphere.
